Without further ado, let’s break down the maneuver into a few steps.

If you are riding strapped, your front foot must be locked into the strap your back foot in front of the back strap.

While riding toe-side get as much speed as possible. Entering fast into a tack is mandatory!

Put more weight on your toes.

Switch the front hand and look out of the turn while depowering the wing by moving it forward over your head.

Grab one of the power handles or the boom with the back hand as soon as possible while the wing is still above your head.

Keep on looking out of the turn. You’ll lean automatically in to the turn and carve.

Expose the wing to the wind on the new tack, sheet-in, flatten the board, trim and ride off.
