The Wing Foil Tack to Switch Tutorial

If you are riding strapped take your back foot off the strap and place it in front of it. The front foot remains locked in throughout the transition.

Get speed, sheet-in the wing and bear upwind. Entering fast into the wing foil tack is mandatory! Look upwind and put more weight on your heels.

Depower the wing by moving it over your head and forward. Place the back hand forward.

Look out of the turn. You’ll lean automatically in to the turn and carve.

Grab the handle or the boom with the new back hand and move the wing to the new tack.

Sheet-in the wing, flatten the board, trim and ride off toe-side.
